AdTech has always been a mish mash of complexity, black boxes and a super fast moving industry, where you have to keep up or risk falling behind. What started as a simple showing of a banner ad has morphed into a labyrinth of real-time auctions, privacy regulations, and algorithmic optimization that changes in the blink of an eye. Throughout the years we went from single SDK integrations to waterfalls and now to various hybrid mediation setups with bidding.

Then you have the other side of the coin where UA (user-acquisition) went through similar turmoils, especially with privacy oriented changes (the introduction of iOS ATT framework was quite a change) - IDFA changes, attribution windows, the change to probabilistic campaign optimizations etc. Everyone is constantly on their feet trying to optimize either their inventory (supply) or their demand - constantly playing cat & mouse to squeeze out every ounce of performance.

Most of the time publishers are left wondering if they truly are making the best of their current situation and without dedicated teams, it’s super hard to do. Modern mediation setups require monitoring, A/B testing, managing technical updates, debugging, responding to privacy changes etc. - this is a lot to think about and presents opportunity cost as every hour spent optimizing could also be spent elsewhere.

At Aurion11 we see an opportunity to help such publishers - perhaps the ones who simply do not have the resources to do all of the crazy setups & maintenance to set up their ad monetization, or perhaps they are simply focused on delivering that next big feature.

Our philosophy is this:

  • Transparency over platform lock-in: instead of pushing proprietary solutions, we believe in teaching publishers to understand their options. When you understand the underlying mechanics, you can make informed decisions rather than reactive ones.

  • Education over quick fixes: teaching good practices over putting band aids on issues.

  • Independence over dependency: our goal is to work ourselves out of a job - we want your teams to become confident in managing their monetization strategy without constant external support.

Our goal is to educate you on how to utilize all this AdTech knowledge we gained throughout the years. We want you to come out of our conversations with enthusiasm and enlightened on how things can be. We want your teams & people to become independent, knowledgeable and confident in dealing with the complexities of AdTech. We want to be able to pull the curtain away, make the black box of AdTech transparent and provide the knowledge on how to fully monetize your apps with ads.

Have questions about your current ad setup or want to discuss monetization strategy? We'd love to hear from you. Drop us a line and let's start the conversation about taking control of your AdTech destiny.
